We’re delighted to announce that iCabbi is now powering taxis in New Zealand. Over the past few weeks, we’ve put over 350 taxis live across Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington. This fully-remote implementation was led by Stuart Palmer and Co of Transport Network Solutions (TNS) in Australia, with a little help from Dublin and Sheffield, and a hugely eager customer making this a super enjoyable implementation for us all.

Corporate Cabs Ltd. (CCL) is an ambitious company that came to iCabbi looking for a complete platform that can deliver the kind of world-class passenger experience customers have come to expect. Crucially, they wanted a fully-integrated platform that they could switch to quickly, with no development work and that’s exactly what they’ve got!

We caught up with Cameron Allison, CEO of CCL, to find out a little more about why CCL chose iCabbi, and more importantly, what their experience has been so far.

Q: What was the main reason you switched to iCabbi?

“CCL was looking for a fully integrated dispatch system. One that could provide a user-friendly experience for our staff and drivers, but also had the additional products that customers have come to expect, such as a passenger app and web booker. In the early stages of our due diligence it became clear that iCabbi was the preferred option amongst the team at CCL.

Q: What products are you using within your new iCabbi platform?

“As we worked through the process we added on more of the services offered by iCabbi, including the passenger app, Business solutions, Web booker, Business insights, and Voice (DiSC). The ability to automate our business became evident as we explored the iCabbi offering further.

Q: Was the process as quick as you wanted?

“Once the decision was made to move to iCabbi, the team worked quickly to get things configured and implemented to best suit our needs.”

Q: What has your experience been so far?

“The experience has been outstanding. We set an ambitious go live date and this was achieved with help from the team at iCabbi. The roll out to our fleet was seamless, and the drivers have responded well to the new system. Our internal call-centre team is enjoying the functionality of the dispatch system and the information provided through dashboards.”

Q: …And the future?

“Our passenger app is preparing to go live which will transform our customer experience. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Stuart and the team at iCabbi and know it will be a long and lasting relationship.”
