ETA Live Activities
Waiting for a taxi just got easier! Passengers using the iOS Passenger App will now be able to track the progress of their trip while outside of the app. So, no more going in and out of the app to check!
All iOS users will now see live ETA updates on their lock screen.
Even better, users of iPhone 14 Pro and 15 Pro (and all subsequent models) will be able to see ETA Live Activities on their Dynamic Island as they use other applications in their phone.
So, they can scroll social media, check the news, send an email, do their banking, or whatever else they wish, while still seeing the live ETA. At any time they can tap the island to reveal more details.
